I’m redesigning the website…again…
I’m just not happy with Wordpress for what I want to do with this site, so I’m building it again from scratch in Photoshop, and then coding it by hand. I’ll leave this layout up until the new one is ready.

Apple has had a lot of news this past week. Apple announced the other day that their line-up for this holiday season is set. This statement smashes rumors of an iMac and Mac Mini refresh. A lot of Apple fan sites were reporting that the Mac Mini might be on its last legs since Apple had informed retailers not to expect any more shipments. A concerned customer emailed Apple’s Mac Hardware Engineering Chief and got a reply back. He then emailed this all to AppleInsider, one of best sites for Apple news. Here is the reply he got back:
“I got a prompt reply by phone from an Apple executive care person essentially giving me no new information but assuring me that Apple knew the mini was a popular machine and to be patient.”
Apple also announced earlier this week that Tony Fadell, Apple’s senior VP of the iPod Division and “Father of the iPod”, and his wife Danielle Lambert, VP of Human Resources, are reducing their roles within the company as they devote more time to their family. Fadell will remain at Apple as an advisor to the CEO, Steve Jobs. Mark Papermaster is joining the Company as senior VP of Devices Hardware Engineering. Papermaster, who has left IBM as a VP to work at Apple, will lead Apple’s iPod and iPhone hardware engineering teams.
